It’s spring here in Atlanta, y’all. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and Mama is happy being outside.
But what about inside?
This is my mantel. I think it’s lovely. But it’s definitely subdued. It doesn’t at all match my recently uplifted mood.
I’m a girl on a budget, though. Enter the Target Dollar Spot!
I purchased five items and spent a total of $15 dollars. What did I get?
This “Think Spring” sign was my inspiration! It’s a free-standing wooden block that looks rustic but also brings that pop of spring color!
I love the color of this ceramic lantern! The details on it make this a piece that grabs a lot of attention for just $3.00!
This is the smallest piece but one that packs a lot of Spring with it! It’s a candle that’s labeled with a floral “peony and blush” scent. The floral accent is so pretty.
I’ll admit. I’m not a huge fan of pink. But this sweet little jar has just the right blush color to be springy but without too much pink for me. I was the lucky recipient of these flowers from my thoughtful preschool class and this jar is the perfect receptacle!
This one is my favorite! This cute butterfly banner is a whimsical and fun accent across the mantel. The flowers on the butterflies tie in all the colors used in the other items.
So, let’s see it all together!
It makes me smile every time I see it! Better yet? The teenage boys noticed it and told me that it looks nice. Do you hear that? They pulled their faces out of their phones and actually noticed the change. That’s definitely an impact!
This is MY kind of decorating. Not only did I get everything at one store, I got all of it within steps! And the price was more than right. Fifteen dollars for a cute little room refresh? Yes, please!
Do you decorate at the change of every season? Do you have a favorite season for which to decorate?
